Bandra is one of the most affluent suburbs of western Mumbai . It is also called as the Queen of Suburb because of posh locality.It is home to many Bollywood and cricketing and influential political personalities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Sachin Tendulkar, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray,former Member of Parliament Priya Dutt, and BJP Mumbai President Ashish Shelar. Bandra has become a preferred residential destination for the high-income group. The locality mostly consists of multi-storey apartments, which command a premium. The locality offers good connectivity to other parts of the city and easy access to social infrastructure. The location is relatively well connected to most of the major business centres. A plethora of restaurants offering various cuisines, pubs, bars, high-street stores, multiple neighborhood shops, hardware shops, vegetable markets, fish and meat market etc are all present within close proximity of the area.
