The Eastern Highway connects Vikhroli to Vashi, Thane, Dadar and Chembur. The Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg connects this region to Bandra, Jogeshwari and other western suburbs. JVLR (Jogeshwari- Link Road) is an important arterial road that connects the eastern suburbs to the western suburbs and the Eastern Highway to the Western Highway. BEST buses offer good service here and many bus depots are located in Vikhroli. The International Airport is located at a distance of about 10 kilometers from Vikhroli and the Central Railway Station is only 1.4 kilometers away. In addition, a bridge is proposed between Kannamwar Nagar in Vikhroli and Kopar Khairane in Navi Mumbai over the Thane creek that would be the third bridge between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
