Ravet is an upcoming residential location located in the north-western part of Pune. The State Urban Development Department has approved a proposal of PCMC to widen two 18-metre wide road in Ravet to 30 and 45 metres respectively. PCMC has also planned to build an underpas at a busy Y-junction where Road meet Aundh- Road in order to ease traffic congestion. This underpas will be 467 metre in length and 7.5 metre wide. It will have two lane and vehicle with a height of up to 4.5 metres will be able to go through the underpass safely. Schools and Hospitals Ravet is home to several important schools and educational institutions. These include S B Patil Public School, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Distance Education, Padmashree Dr D Y Patil Institute of Management Studies and D Y Patil College of Engineering.
